ASSESSMENT
You Component 1 (Devising) – Internally assessed, externally moderated (40%). (10% performance,
30% written coursework)
Component 2 (Text in Performance) – Externally examined by a visiting examiner (20%)
Component 3 (Theatre Makers in Practice) – Written examination (2 hours 30 minutes) (40%)
This combination of practical and written assessment gives every student the opportunity to demonstrate
both creative flair and academic understanding.
